SERVER RULES
Obey these or die.
OOC Rules:
1. Respect Others
Basically be nice to others. Racism and Sexism is definitely a huge NO. Don't make us throw you into a pit of fireworms. This includes any arguing, fighting etc that is OOC. Keep it out of the server or be gone.
2. Respect Staff
If at any time you are rude to a staff member, this will not be tolerated. They are just doing their jobs, I understand if being told this and that may get frustrating but take a chill pill and go do something else for a while if you are going to get upset/angry about it.
2.5 (This goes for rule 1 and 2)
If at anytime you have an issue with someone else in the server please let one of the staff members (Or if it’s an issue with a staff member let @[Bree] Astrid/Too Many OCs Again know) and we will handle it accordingly. We want our server to be a safe and happy place for everyone to enjoy that is DRAMA FREE.
3. Language
Swearing is allowed, just keep it friendly, don't go around insulting people by swearing at them, that would be breaking rule #1. Excessive swearing is however not allowed, we want our community to look and be friendly after all. If you are too young and immature to handle a few curse words I would suggest leaving this server and probably get off the internet. Offensive language is not allowed.
4. Channels
Make sure you are keeping what you are posting in the channels relevant to that channel. For example, keep your image posts in #🔲-images-and-media and any ranting, screaming or whatever in #😡-the-abyss
5. NSFW
Just no. You dirty fuck. We do have a NSFW channel that is available to the appropriate age group however, if you really must. Just keep it in there and we won't have a problem.
6. Self Promotion
Yeah no. If you would like to become a partner to the server however you can discuss it with me in private message, to get your discord server posted in #🤝-partners Any server invites in DMs will cause an instant strike, no exceptions.
7. Mini Modding
We get you might want to help and that is greatly appreciated, but we ask that you please do not try and do the moderator’s jobs for them. This includes answering any #❓-questions or #🤔-oc-help that people ask for, as well as giving warnings or telling people off or commenting on their OC forms in #👪-oc-creation-human or #🐲-oc-creation-dragon and no one should be talking in either creation channels unless they are a mod or have submitted their character and replying to a mod . If you see something happen OOC or IRP that should be brought to our attention you can private message any Admins/Mods at any time to let us know. If you would like to be a mod (if we are accepting) fill out the #📜-admin-mod-applications to be considered becoming one.
Roleplay Rules
8. OOC Chatter
While some small comments in brackets in the RP channels is okay we prefer to keep the channels clean of excessive OOC chat. We have #💬-rp-commentary you can go into if you need to discuss something to do with the roleplay in more depth then a few words.
9. Activity
We expect our roleplayers to be active within the community whether it is IRP or OOC. Anyone who is inactive for over a month in the server without a valid reason given to a mod first will be given the inactive role and all other roles stripped. You will then have to resubmit your OCs if you do return.
10. OCs
We allow everyone to have as many OCs as they like, just make sure you are actively roleplaying all of them or inactively used OCs may be removed. You can only have a certain amount of dragons, depending on the slots in #🐉-book-of-dragons . 5 slots or below you can have 1 dragon per species, 10+ slot dragons are 2 per species Another part to this rule is to keep your OCs realistic to the franchise. We don’t want any crazy outfits, eye colour, hair colour, weapons etc. that do not fit into the time when Vikings existed. If you need help with your OC creation go to #help
11. Powerful Dragons
Below is a list of dragons that are considered to be powerful. Anyone is allowed to RP them as long as they meet the following criteria: Active RPer for at least 2 weeks, shown they can RP decently and responsibly IRP. You will only be allowed to claim at maximum 4 of these dragons per person, and only allowed 1 Fury dragon just to keep it fair to others. These dragons REQUIRE a decent personality and/or backstory. Hybrids & Customs require a list of strengths and weaknesses.

12. Canon Characters
To claim a canon character you must audition for it first with a decently sized paragraph post to show how well you can or cannot rp that character. We expect a good standard of RP for these characters and people who will roleplay them true to who they are. We want our canons to be rp’d by people who genuinely enjoy the character and isn’t just looking for a powerful/important role. Most importantly BE ACTIVE with canons or you will potentially be asked to step down from that role to give to someone else. Admins reserve the right to ask of this if they believe you are either not active enough or do not meet the standards. You can have a max of 4
13. One-Liners
Yes these are allowed under some conditions. Make sure your post is more than just a couple of words. We understand that everyone has different ways of roleplaying as well as RP skill levels, but your posts should be able to let the other person take from it to create their reply with relative ease. If you need some help with RPing I have provided a channel for #👍-rp-tips that may help newer rpers understand what is expected. or you can go to #🤔-oc-help
14. Meta/Godmodding
Just no. Never ever. You may OOCly know information or the whereabouts of someone else’s OC but do not go and use that information in the RP without your OC somehow knowing that information and with the other person’s permission first. (Hint: Merchants are a great way to pass on information between two characters) Meta also includes newly acquired weapons or armor/outfits, we expect you to roleplay getting new items not just pulling them out of thin air. Make sure your posts during fights are left open ended for the other RPer to decide if they want their OC to be hit or to dodge, but don’t have your OC constantly dodge every attack that’s just ridiculous and no one will want to RP with you.
15. Combat
We have a simple combat system that includes rolling a dice by typing ?roll 1. If the attacker rolls the highest number their attack will hit but how badly will be decided by the other person, however if the one being attacked rolls highest they will dodge the attack. This is to help make combat more fair for everyone.(edited)
16. WARNINGS
If ANY of the following rules above are broken at any time you will be given a warning. Please refer to #⚠-warning-system to become familiar with how this works. Don’t break the rules and we will get along great!
17. HAVE FUN!!
Lastly… That's right, enjoy yourself. We are a fun loving and chill community for all ages from 13 and up. No one enjoys being around people who don't know how to have a laugh every once in a while.
